Missouri CDL Skills Test Locations
Checked Oct 23, 2026 Official source: Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) Driver Examination / Missouri Department of Revenue
The Missouri State Highway Patrol gives CDL skills tests at 15 CDL skills testing sites, all by appointment only. Certified Missouri third-party testers can also give the test; the DOR does not publish their list on these pages.
Take the CDL skills test with the Missouri State Highway Patrol or a certified Missouri Third Party Tester, then bring the completed examination to a DOR contract license office to apply for the CDL.

- It does not apply if you held a CDL or the P, S or H endorsement before February 7, 2022. Some 49 CFR Part 383 skills-test exceptions also exempt you. (fmcsa.dot.gov)
- Find a registered provider on FMCSA's Training Provider Registry. (tpr.fmcsa.dot.gov)

Tips
- Several MSHP sites test only when the pavement is dry; have a backup date in wet weather.
- Hannibal, Koch Road (St. Louis), Lee's Summit, Rolla and Sedalia are combined CDL and driver testing supersites.
- Malden and Sikeston share the same appointment line: (573) 840-9500, option 4.
